About The Project

DiverseCity onBoard by Maytree Foundation connects highly qualified candidates from visible minority and under-represented immigrant communities with governance positions in agencies, boards, commissions and nonprofit organizations across the Greater Toronto Area.

The Maytree Foundation works with public institutions and volunteer organizations to help change the face of the region’s leadership. It promotes board recruitment and appointment processes that reflect the diverse population. By doing so, they help public institutions embrace diversity as a core value of a shared society while connecting them to the talent they need for competitive growth, sustainability, and shared prosperity.
