About The Project

TakingITGlobal is one of the world’s leading networks of young global citizens that are working towards tackling global challenges. The site offers members and visitors a diverse set of educational resources, opportunities, and action tools intended to inspire, inform and involve. TIG empowers young people to become agents of positive change in their local and global communities with the aim to create a more inclusive, peaceful and sustainable world.

Since launching in 2000, over forty million visitors across every country and territory have made use of TIG tools and resources, provided in thirteen languages to support intercultural dialogue and understanding globally.
